Water pooling at your front door? Stepping out into a puddle isn't just annoying - in freezing temperatures it can be dangerous. Luckily, there is a way to remove the standing water that can pool outside your home - the ACO DrainMat system. Made up of either a concrete (polymer) or plastic (polypropene) base, this high-quality matwell assembly is integrated into the ground outside your home. And because it's fixed at floor level, it won't move around, or create a step like a traditional door mat - and all while removing water from your threshold.
The look of the ACO DrainMat system is up to you, and this stylish black rubber and aluminium mat makes a great finishing touch. Tough and hard-wearing, it dislodges stubborn dirt from footwear easily and you can remove it for maintenance and cleaning. Available in three sizes, choose the one that fits your ACO DrainMat system base - just remember that while the polymer concrete base is available in three sizes, the polypropylene base only comes in one size. Once installed, the DrainMat system is compliant with Part M of the Building Regulations for England and Wales and Section 4 of the Scottish Building Standard.
