The modern, grey powder-coated finish is applied to both sides of the Grey Classic Roller Garage Door and will create a seamless aesthetic when installed in properties with other grey external doors. To protect the garage door's 56mm aluminium insulated and noise reducing slats and maintain their high-quality finish, Birkdale powder coats the roller slats, making them incredibly hardwearing and comes with a five-year warranty against the risk of fading over time.

Birkdale's Grey Classic Roller Garage Door allows you to stop your car immediately outside the garage door before opening it, and once you have parked, you can then use your remote control, which comes with the door, to close it behind you. Its excellently smooth coiling curtain operation is powered by a high-speed tube motor and comes covered with a seven-year motor warranty as standard.

Hi im looking at getting one of these and fitting inside the garage not within the aperture to gain a little more access. how much extra width do I need over and above the aperture width

Answer:

We would advise 75mm side room either side of the opening and 250mm headroom above the lintel. Depending on the height of the opening, you may only require 205mm headroom.
