The Grey 7016 exterior and White interior are easy to wipe down and resist cracking, peeling and fading. This means that maintenance is minimal without painting, treating and sanding throughout use.
With a no CFCs core and skins that are manufactured to BS476: part 12 'Method of Test for Ignitability of Products by Direct Flame Impingement', the structure of this door includes two uPVC skins. An adhesive that is heat and moisture resistant is used to pressure bond these skins to the E.H.D.F.R.A (extra high-density fire-retardant additive) polystyrene core.
This Crystal Direct residential door includes Class 1 surface spread of flame classification (BS476 part 7) panels and durable toughened glass (Kitemark BS6206) to enhance security and resilience. The multipoint locking also achieves a high level of security, being that there are several bolts that slot into place for confident seals. Thermal efficiency is attained by a low U Value of 1.3 W/m²K and, when leaving doors open isn't possible, the trickle ventilation provides airflow.
