Crystal Direct residential doors are crafted to exceed in both thermal efficiency and security. The multipoint locking system ensures that several bolted points keep the door firmly shut and tightly sealed, meanwhile the trickle ventilation maintains natural airflow despite the door being closed. With toughened glass (Kitemark BS6206) and panels that adhere to Class 1 surface spread of flame classification (BS476 part 7), as well as low U Values of 1.3 W/m²K, the doors are secure, prevent heat loss and, in turn, can lessen the costs of your energy bills.
Clear glazed for visibility, this door is minimalistic and modern. The sleek white uPVC finish doesn't require constant maintenance, sanding, treating or painting. Rather, all you have to do is wipe it down and surfaces are back to their original state. This door also has a CFCs free core and a BS476: part 12 'Method of Test for Ignitability of Products by Direct Flame Impingement' approved skin. It features two uPVC skins that are pressure bonded to an E.H.D.F.R.A polystyrene (extra high-density fire-retardant additive) core by using an adhesive that fends well against heat and moisture.
