This Crystal Direct residential door marries together low maintenance finishes with multipoint locking for a product that is easy to clean, and bolts shut in numerous places for firm seals. It includes Class 1 surface spread of flame classification (BS476 part 7) panels with toughened glass (Kitemark BS6206), as well as a U Value of 1.3 W/m²K that helps to retain heat in cold winter months. The trickle ventilation also gives you the ability to naturally ventilate rooms that have closed doors.
With a low risk of peeling, fading and cracking, you can rest assured that your door will look fantastic for time to come without needing to sand, treat or paint it. In terms of structure and manufacturing, Crystal Direct residential doors use two uPVC skins that are pressure bonded with a moisture and heat resistant adhesive to an E.H.D.F.R.A polystyrene (extra high-density fire-retardant additive) core. Cores are CFCs free and skins are approved to BS476: part 12 'Method of Test for Ignitability of Products by Direct Flame Impingement'.
