Would it not be possible to cut 2 inches from top and bottom of a oak door ,to make it 74 inches and take half inch either side to make it 29 inches ,not bothered about warranty... Would this be possible ,are they solid oak ?,thanks joanne

This door does not have a big enough trim tolerance to allow this to be cut down to 74 inches. Cutting down to this height would void any warranty with the supplier.
To get a door at that height, the most likely option is a bespoke size request.
