Meeting the requirements of BS3621:2017 as well as being suitable for the demands of insurance companies and the Police, this range comes in a choice of finishes to help you ensure your deadlock ties in seamlessly with your other door hardware products.

Featuring a 20mm bolt throw, hardened steel plates help protect the lock against the threat of drilling, and twin hardened steel plates in the dead bolt protect against hacksawing. ERA uses over a thousand key variations to limit the risk of cross-compatibility between keys and locks.

Also referred to as a dead bolt, a dead lock is a type of door locking mechanism that can only be opened and closed with the turning of a compatible key. As dead locks do not include a latch, the door will not remain closed when it is unlocked. Appropriate for both external and internal doors, these locks are often installed as a secondary security measure to work in conjunction with a standard door knob or backplate lock.

  • Wipe the surface periodically with a soft cloth to remove excess grease or moisture.
