What do you mean by " re lipping ". I would need to cut 40mm off the bottom.
Answer:
The lipping protects the door core and is what allows for adjustments, by trimming a timber based fire door without having the required trimming you create risk to adversely affecting its fire performance. If in doubt seek advice from a fire door specialist.

To detach the supplied lipping you simply slide it off and this is easy to then slide back on.

LPD advise that this door has a U-Value of 1.6 and complies with the current building regulations.

The lippings are not something we sell separately, however, the lipping that is included with these doors is re-attachable.

Can glazing apertures be cut into the door providing hockey stick glazing beads are used? Are the lippings concealed as I need to cut 32mm off the width and 40mm off the height. Are the lippings re-usable?

10mm solid hardwood lippings included for slight adjustments - please note the door may need to be re-lipped if trimmed more than 10mm
As it is a fire door you will not be able to cut from the top, you would only be able to cut from the bottom.

I am looking for a solid door for the side door of a garage. The actual dimentions are 1712 by 665. Would the Hardwood solid core unfinished Brazil door be suitable for me to cut down to the side as stated?
Answer:
It can be cut to any height and trimmed on width however the door may need to be re-lipped if reduced/trimmed by more than 10mm per edge.

Is it possible to cut an arch in the top of the door?
Answer:
If you were to trim more than 10mm per edge, you will come into contact with the core material. This door can be re-lipped. It would depend on the skill of the carpenter as to whether they can work with this.
