Material composition: Hollow core doors are doors which are essentially hollow in the inside, save for some construction paper or cellular cardboard arranged in a honeycomb pattern. Doors are constructed with hollow cores as a light, cost effective alternative to solid core doors.
Installation: Internal doors should not be installed in areas with recent plastered, screeded or wet sites. All of our doors including those pre-finished, should not be exposed to inappropriate damp site conditions.
Storage: When receiving door it should be laid flat fully supported off the floor in a dry and fully ventilated area with protective packaging intact. Doors supplied unfinished should be thoroughly sealed on all faces and edges prior to any installation work.
Finishers: These doors are fully finished and ready to hang. You may need to decorate the edges if you need to trim. In that case you can use the touch up paint provided with the door.
