LPD have created this subtle Manhattan Magnetic Latch to match their Manhattan doors range. This Magnetic Latch comes in a standard model or a privacy model, both with a modern matt black finish and featuring a 53mm latch casing designed to complement LPD's 80mm stiles.

Do not trim the door edge more than 5mm and ensure the latch casing used is no bigger than 53mm, if you are using any alternative hardware for the Manhattan range.

Hi, Could you please tell me if privacy latch can be locked by key and if yes, which one should I buy? Also, the knob for locking bathroom door- should it be Manhattan range only ? I have installed the other brand and it turns around , it doesn’t lock the door. I appreciate your help, Many thanks,

Answer:

We would advise using the matching Manhattan thumb turn with these locks. Product code: HARDMANTT.

We would also advise against using anything but the Manhattan handles with this lock. Product code: HARDMANMER / HARDMANCHA

Hi, please can you tell me the difference between the privacy & standard, also do you get one per door to create the magnet or is there a plate to attach to the second door. Thanks.

Answer:

The privacy latches are lockable, whereas the standard latches will not have a locking option.
