Description

Modern shaker design with a quarter cut oak veneer that provides a clean consistent finish. This 35mm door has laminated timber stiles are edged with a 10mm thick oak lipping and over veneered with White Oak. The door panels have an MDF core and are faced with the same veneer. Beading is of solid White Oak. Unless stated otherwise the doors are supplied unfinished. Door sizes 457mm and 533mm has 2 panels not 4.

Technical information

If a door needs to be trimmed it must be reduced equally from both sides. Each side of a door may be trimmed up to a maximum of 6mm for doors with a lipping 10mm or more, and 3mm for doors with a 6mm lipping. Please note any trimming over the 6mm overall for the fire doors will invalidate the FD30 rating.

We recommend the use of 3 hinges to offer more rigidity and strength.

Untreated products must be fully sealed prior to hanging – this applies to all surfaces including tops, bottoms and all recesses cut for hinges, locks, handles and letter plates etc. Waxes and oils are not considered suitable for sealing a door and if used will invalidate any guarantee should the door subsequently fail.
