Due to the likelihood that these doors will be hung in an exposed location without the protection of a porch or canopy, it is essential that all edges, faces and cut outs are fully sealed prior to installation and that regular maintenance is undertaken. If this precaution is not observed, the performance and appearance of the doors will not be satisfactory.

If a door needs to be trimmed it must be reduced equally from both sides. Each side of a door may be trimmed up to a maximum of 6mm for doors with a lipping 10mm or more, and 3mm for doors with a 6mm lipping. Please note any trimming over the 6mm overall for the fire doors will invalidate the FD30 rating.
We recommend the use of 3 hinges to offer more rigidity and strength.
Untreated products must be fully sealed prior to hanging – this applies to all surfaces including tops, bottoms and all recesses cut for hinges, locks, handles and letter plates etc. Waxes and oils are not considered suitable for sealing a door and if used will invalidate any guarantee should the door subsequently fail.

Yes, as long as they are fitted correctly and have the relevant and appropriate glazing.

Unfortunately, these doors are only supplied in the standard 1981mm height and it would not be possible to trim to 1825mm without voiding the warranty as well as potentially damaging the doors.
