Superior engineered construction with 18mm solid lipping’s and thick face veneer. The door has an overall thermal rating U value of 1.7 the double-glazed unit is constructed with “K” glass, argon gas filled. The glass in the unit is of acid etched (sandblasted) effect. This door must be fully protected from rain and direct sunlight by a porch, recess or overhang.

If a door needs to be trimmed it must be reduced equally from both sides. Each side of a door may be trimmed up to a maximum of 6mm for doors with a lipping 10mm or more, and 3mm for doors with a 6mm lipping. Please note any trimming over the 6mm overall for the fire doors will invalidate the FD30 rating.
We recommend the use of 3 hinges to offer more rigidity and strength.
Untreated products must be fully sealed prior to hanging – this applies to all surfaces including tops, bottoms and all recesses cut for hinges, locks, handles and letter plates etc. Waxes and oils are not considered suitable for sealing a door and if used will invalidate any guarantee should the door subsequently fail.
