Superior engineered construction with solid 18mm oak lippings and thick oak face veneers. The doors are supplied as right and left handed and come with a 12mm rebate RHPO (right hand leaf push open when facing the doors).
The fitted glass units are triple glazed and one side of the door (outside) has a raised moulding around the panels and glass. These doors must be fully protected from rain and direct sunlight by a porch, recess or overhang.
If a door needs to be trimmed it must be reduced equally from both sides. Each side of a door may be trimmed up to a maximum of 6mm for doors with a lipping 10mm or more, and 3mm for doors with a 6mm lipping. Please note any trimming over the 6mm overall for the fire doors will invalidate the FD30 rating.
We recommend the use of 3 hinges to offer more rigidity and strength.
Untreated products must be fully sealed prior to hanging – this applies to all surfaces including tops, bottoms and all recesses cut for hinges, locks, handles and letter plates etc. Waxes and oils are not considered suitable for sealing a door and if used will invalidate any guarantee should the door subsequently fail.
